1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between WkD and participants of the offered online language courses and tutoring services.
By registering for a course, the participant accepts these Terms and Conditions.

2. Subject of the Contract
WkD provides online instruction in the form of language courses and tutoring.
Classes take place live via digital communication platforms.
The courses are intended solely for knowledge transfer and practical language practice.
A specific learning outcome or language level cannot be guaranteed.

3. Registration and Contract Formation
Registration for a course takes place via the website or through a provided registration form.
The contract becomes effective once the registration has been confirmed and the payment has been received.
The number of participants per course is limited.
WkD reserves the right to postpone or cancel courses if the number of participants is insufficient.

4. Participation Requirements
Participation in the courses requires a stable internet connection and a suitable device.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet the technical requirements for attending the online lessons.

5. Course Format
All lessons take place exclusively online and live.
Lesson times and schedules will be announced before the course begins.
Changes to the schedule may be necessary in exceptional cases.

6. Course Fees and Payment
Course fees must be paid in full before the course begins.
Payment is made using the payment methods offered on the website.
All prices are stated in accordance with §19 UStG without the display of VAT (small business regulation), where applicable.

7. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded.
If the course begins before the end of the withdrawal period at the participant’s explicit request, the right of withdrawal may expire.

8. Cancellation and Withdrawal from Courses
Withdrawal from the course is possible within the legal withdrawal period.
After the course has started, refunds of course fees are generally excluded.
In individual cases, WkD may offer an alternative solution as a gesture of goodwill.

9. Certificate of Participation
After completing a course, a certificate of participation may be issued.
This certificate does not represent an official language certificate.

10. Exam Simulation
Some courses may include exam simulations.
These simulations are intended for practice purposes only and do not constitute official examinations.

11. Copyright
All teaching materials, content, and documents are protected by copyright.
Distribution, publication, or reproduction without permission from WkD is not permitted.

12. Liability
WkD is only liable in cases of intent or gross negligence.
No liability is assumed for technical problems on the participant’s side or for internet connection failures.

13. Data Protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

14. Final Provisions
If individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
